When it comes to long earrings I try and find ones with a hook catch loop/ kidney ear wires rather than a fish hook because I can thread them through the middle of a tunnel. With fish hooks I usually put them on underneath a tunnel or plug but I only do it for a little while because I worry about the wire of the earring affecting the health of my lobes. If you shop around there are some sites that make really pretty plugs so you don’t really feel like you’re missing out on regular guage jewellery. I’ve also made my own by glueing the pretty bit of an earring onto a cheap plain plug. Just be sure not to use acrylic plugs :) The only earrings you cant really wear are a stud but if you shop around you should be find alternatives :) Iduno if thats any help!
